- Service Requests: Handle incoming service requests directly from client locations, follow up promptly with the responsible salesperson, and coordinate the field response.
- Resource Alignment: Coordinate closely with sales and engineering departments to verify tool availability and proactively identify potential project constraints or scheduling priorities.
- Workforce Deployment: Organize the daily deployment of Field Specialists to maximize operational efficiency, promote employee skill development, maintain strict safety standards, and balance workloads evenly.
Logistics, Field Review, and Problem Solving
Workshop Logistics: Implement, monitor, and continuously improve all processes related to logistics within the workshop to ensure smooth execution of the job on-site.
Proposal Adjustments: Collaborate actively with the Sales Team and the International Operations Manager whenever a live project proposal requires operational changes.
Paperwork Auditing: Review field tickets, compliance logs, and administrative paperwork to ensure total accuracy before final submission.
Technical Problem Solving: Aid both corporate clients and on-site field specialists in real-time problem solving, providing valuable feedback to the appropriate manager.
Quality Process Input: Participate fully in the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Field Technical Report (FTR) processes, offering technical input to managers and engineers.
Safety Standards, Certification, and Quality Assurance
Safety Promotion: Actively promote and introduce Packers Plus safety requirements to ensure all field operations align perfectly with core company objectives.
Kuwait Compliance: Take full responsibility for ensuring that all necessary training, certifications, and re-certifications for Field Specialists are completed to satisfy specific Kuwait work requirements. Environment Enforcement: Enforce strict international safety standards, maintain a zero-harm work environment, and lead or participate in daily morning safety meetings. Inventory Quality: Work and coordinate closely with the Inventory Manager to guarantee absolute accuracy and compliance regarding quality documentation and asset tracking. Technical Presentations: Independently host comprehensive technical presentations to support various product lines alongside the operations team.Qualifications and Skills
- Industry Longevity: A minimum of 10 years of direct experience working in a field and workshop environment is required.
- Oil and Gas Expertise: Previous, verifiable experience within the Oil and Gas sector is strictly required.
- Field Knowledge: Deep, practical field knowledge of downhole tools, completion systems, and workshop logistics.
- Academic Background: A High School Diploma is preferred, though technical diplomas or relevant certifications are highly valued.
- Language Fluency: Must be completely fluent in written and spoken English. Additional fluency in Arabic is highly preferred to facilitate communication with local clients and stakeholders.
- Safety Credentials: Valid certifications in First Aid, CPR, H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide awareness), WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), or international equivalents.
- Driving Requirements: Ability to handle extended periods of driving to reach remote rig sites and field locations.
