Role Overview: Resource Planning Manager

As the Resource Planning Manager in airport job, you will play a crucial role in our Dubai-based airport operations. Your main mission will be to lead short-term and mid-term workforce and equipment planning to maximize resource utilization and efficiency.

You won’t be working in a silo. You will partner closely with key stakeholders across the entire dnata Airport Operations network to align day-to-day operational needs with overarching business priorities. This vital position requires clear, confident communication to translate operational insights and constraints into smart, commercially sound business decisions. Additionally, you will manage complex rostering across multiple airport functions and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) toward high-profile, Dubai-based aviation projects.

Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

In this management role, your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse, challenging, and highly impactful. You will: 1. Strategic Forecasting & Budgeting Lead short- to mid-term resource forecasting, budgeting, and planning for both manpower (staffing) and ground support equipment (GSE).

Ensure all resource allocations perfectly align with financial budgets and fluctuating flight demands.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy Partner with diverse stakeholder business units to translate complex operational requirements into clear business goals.

Influence corporate workforce strategy, operational cost optimization, and premium service delivery.

3. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing planning team within a fast-paced, highly dynamic airport environment.

Foster team agility, high performance, and strict alignment with core operational priorities.

4. Technology & Systems Integration Actively deploy, manage, and contribute to the continuous development of advanced resource management software suites (such as INFORM).

Leverage advanced technological solutions from the Emirates Group to enhance planning accuracy, productivity, and overall performance.

5. Labor & Cost Management Manage comprehensive labor planning, including the oversight of external, outsourced service providers.

Drive cost-efficient operations by continuously monitoring performance metrics and making real-time adjustments to shift patterns and rosters.

6. Data-Driven Insights Collaborate across various dnata business units to design and deliver innovative operational solutions.

Provide clear, data-driven insights regarding staff productivity and equipment utilization to support senior management decision-making.

Prepare and deliver regular, comprehensive productivity reports (on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis) along with ad hoc data analyses for executive leadership.

7. Relationship Management Build and maintain highly effective, collaborative relationships with key corporate stakeholders, including Human Resources (HR), Finance departments, and respective Business Cost Center holders.
