Education & Core Qualifications

Below are the key qualifications, experience levels, and essential skills required to join the official FIFA World Cup 26™ workforce:
- Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent higher education qualification in Sports Management, Event Management, IT & Systems, Safety & Security, Venue Management, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on Substitution: Don’t have a specific degree? Proven vocational training or practical on-the-ground experience in managing major events, stadium operations, or venue access control systems can successfully substitute for formal education.
- Football Knowledge: A solid familiarity with football (soccer) matchday operations and standard access management principles. Having previous exposure to official FIFA access management systems is a massive advantage that will make your application stand out!
- Industry Track Record: At least 1 to 2+ years of direct experience working within the sports event industry. We are specifically looking for backgrounds in access management, accreditation, stadium venue management, or safety and security.
- For Coordinator Roles: A minimum of 1 year of event experience is required.
For Managerial Roles: 2+ years of leadership experience in a similar capacity is highly preferred. - Crowd Flow & Stadium Logistics: A strong background in crowd wayfinding, route planning, and spectator circulation management within large-scale venue or stadium environments.
- Cross-Functional Operations: Proven experience working behind the scenes in fast-paced event operations, smoothly coordinating tasks across multiple departments and tech teams.
- Volunteer Support: In Fifa World Cup Jobs You will Experience managing, training, or supporting passionate volunteer workforces in a high-pressure, live operational environment.
- Tech-Savvy Operations: Familiarity with modern electronic access control systems, handheld ticket scanners, or digital accreditation devices is a major asset.
